This will be the first time that the tournament will be hosted by an African nation. The matches will be played in 10 different stadiums, spread over nine cities.

The opening match and the final will take place in the new First National Bank Stadium in Johannesburg, with a capacity of 95.000 spectators is by far the biggest stadium. The semi finals are in Kaapstad and Durban, the quarter finals in Johannesburg (2x), Kaapstad and Port Elizabeth.
